Ode to my biggest guy, my little love, and the best four year old skier out there. Joel Andrew started Ski School this weekend - the Mini Runners program, and he loves it. We have been prepping him all year and I am so nervous for the shoe to drop and him to say he hates it, but he loves it. LOVES IT. He is excited to get ready to go skiing, and he loves his coach and he is starting to love the other guys in his class. He is psyched.
Not to mention, he looks good. Daddy decked him out in the sweetest outfit ever.
We are looking forward to a winter of bringing him to ski school, and his classes will also sometimes bleed into the evenings with movie nights and more. Funny that Mommy just found out that someone she knows from work will also have their 4 year old in our ski program. I am hoping we will meet more and more couples who are up there for the weekends like us - more people to ski with, have fun with, go out to dinner with. Drinks, anyone while the kids are at ski/movie/pizza night? Yes, please. And, the best part - we do not even have to move, we are 30 feet from ski school! Drinks while the kids are in ski morning program? Hey, why not?
Daddy went night skiing with Joel after his first lesson and Daddy said that Joel Andrew went flying down the mountain. Another speed demon in the family? Oh boy… James is sad that he does not get to go. (You have the be 3 and potty trained for the full programs). I keep saying that he can go, if he learns to go on the potty and not in his diaper. This kid is going to be tricky. We may try the daycare/ski for one hour program with James anyway…
Hoping for an awesome season. Already getting tons of snow!
