Happy Birthday, James!

We celebrated James Morris in epic style at his birthday party on Saturday - the first party of its kind where I actually invited all of his friends from school, as well as our home friends.  We met at Artastic, our favorite place down the road, and it was incredibly affordable and awesome to have 11 kids party, paint, play and take home a Melissa and Doug sticker book (it was less than $200 - which is a big deal seeing as Seacoast Science was going to be $300+ and not include many, many things).

I think both James and Joel appreciated having the kids from school there and of course they loved their family friends as well.  It was a good mixture of activity and fun, even though I have lost my mind and organization skills a bit and showed up without forks for the cake… whoops and thanks to Nana for running out and getting them, on an empty tank no less for the car.

Afterwards the family friends and us went back to the house for some fun.  Even Auntie Grandma showed up!  We ordered pizza from the pizza place, and when they forgot to come we got lots free pizza, though very late.  The kids played and ran and played and ran in the backyard and the swing set certainly got it's money's worth.  Most people left by 2, but then the Kings and the Solsos came back for some further evening fun and great times were had by all.

Another successful birthday party for a Williams boy~!
