Thank you to Santa

Last night James and I went to pick Joel Andrew up from school. Daddy was not feeling very well. Since I was doing the pick-up during normal dinner prep time, I also decided we would pick up Joel Andrew's favorite, Dilla (Quesadilla) for dinner.

Joel Andrew was very good. He was super excited for dinner, had a great day at school and was being very talkative. We were waiting in line, when a man entered the place and got in line behind us. He immediately struck up a conversation with Joel Andrew.

MAN: "What's your name?"

JA: "Joel."

MAN to Mommy: "What?"

Mommy: "Joel."

MAN: "What's his name?"

JA: "Baby James. And that's Mommy."

MAN: "Did you have a nice Christmas?"

JA: "Yes. Thank you for my present."

MAN to Mommy: "What did he say?"

Mommy: "I am not sure."

MAN: "What did you say?"

JA, yelling: "Thank you for my present!"

MAN: (laughing) "Ho, Ho, Ho."

The man was older, and had a long white beard. I smiled and we got our Quesadilla and went home. So far there are 21 likes of this account on Facebook!
