Mato Picking
We have lots of little tiny tomatoes that come back year after year in our garden. Tons, and they are delicious. Just little balls of sunshine. Joel Andrew loves to pick them, last year he would call the little green tops "frogs" and we would make the frogs leap across the table. This year he goes out and picks them all by himself.
This week while I was cooking dinner the little helper went in the garden to pick matos. He came running in, "Mommy, Mommy, look what I got for you, a surprise!" I said "What did you get me?" - fully expecting a cucumber or a squash. He says joyfully: "A flower!"
(see image of a cucumber flower). Thanks, Joel. Thanks...
