We had a great weekend. We were supposed to do something for my former employer on Saturday night, but due to various circumstances we could not make it. Instead we ended up at the diner around the corner as we needed to eat something, and we had our first family dinner out. I have to say that it was a good thing that I tried the first family dinner out at the diner around the corner and not at a fancy evening dinner at my former place of work with all their donors... The boys were as good as can be expected, but that is about it. It was fun nonetheless. It is growing on me, this foursome thing.

Sunday morning all the boys left Mommy at home and went to the park. They had a great time together. At one point I was standing in the kitchen, prepping for the day and thought to myself, this could become a common thing. Boys go do something, Mom hangs at home. I like it.

Sunday night after the Patriots pathetically lost to the Bills, we had our neighbors over for a backyard warming party. Despite the fact that 8,000 flies are now living in our home, we had a spectacular time! Our neighbors are the best. What a feast.

Nana and Pa are here today spoiling the boys one last time before they go down to Hilton Head for the winter. Joel Andrew is running around like crazy (a happy crazy, not a bad crazy), refused a nap today, and is snacking and not having one meal. James is only sleeping in Nana's arms. Suck it in boys, this is the last of it for a while!
