In less than three weeks I will have a little guy in Kindergarten. That means the fast forward button will really be pushed and the next thing you know he will be going to sleep away camp, learning to drive and picking a college and I will be really old.
In the last three weeks we have some fun planned, visit to Ama and Grumpy's house, more lake of course, and hopefully at least a water country day or two - that did not turn out to be as epic this summer as we previously thought.
Today we are kinda bumming around and doing errands. Meeting friends at a park and grabbing yogurt afterwards, then meeting other friends for dinner in their new home. Not an epic adventure day for sure - but not a waste either. Nice just to have a day with my boys, who right now are watching Octonauts.
Earlier, when Mommy was really tired, they came in and snuggled with me and watched Mickey. It was hard not to notice Joel Andrew's boredom. He is so past it now. It is so sad! But, good sad, right. James told me he will always be my baby. Good thing.
So, just a few more days of my 2 pre-school boys. Then, it is a big kid who rides the bus! (and a little guy who will have lots of extra Mommy time!).
