The guy is doing well! We have had our ups and downs the past few days, but that is to be expected. We visited our friend Pilar at Beauport in Gloucester. It was a great trip, lunch by the ocean and a nice walk around Eastern Point. The fresh sea air certainly did him well. Just some slight fussiness. This was not the case the next day when we went to visit Denise at her home in Waltham. She made a delicious spread, and my little guy just screamed the entire time. He clearly needed the swing, which is not really portable. So, we made a quick and embarassing escape - he fell asleep almost immediately in the car. Of course! That night it was off to visit Nana and Pa in their new awesome Burlington home, to celebrate Pa's birthday. Nana held him the entire dinner long - a nice break for Mom!

Saturday we hosted a small gathering for the locals to celebrate my 30th birthday. Pig Roast! It was a nice way for the little guy to meet a lot of people, and for Mommy to have a nice celebration as well. Despite the weather, we all had a great time. The little guy was a hit!

There were LOTS of babies, and many toddlers, a glimpse of our future. I can't imagine LJ running around. Angus may not absolutely love babies, but he is a big fan of toddlers. He chased his new based friend Georgia around the entire backyard. I bet you Georgia had a great night sleep, Angus certainly did!
Times have changed. We were in bed by 1! Though they did not totally change, as all of the grandparents took care of the little guy late night, so the "older kids" played some flip cup (a mommy favorite), chatted at the bonfire, and watched some excellent fireworks! It was certainly a memorable birthday celebration. The good news, that was only Saturday and my birthday is not until Monday... the celebration continues!
