Grumpy's Office

We are in Chicago now! Visiting my parents, Grammie and Grumpy. Even with our big morning of travel we had time yesterday afternoon to get out of the apartment and see Grumpy's office. We also made a quick visit to Whole Foods, which of course resulted in a $100 purchase of food we probably do not need... But, it is so good. I am glad we do not have a Whole Foods near us as I would spend probably, no joke, $1,000 a month on groceries and other items - but boy do I love that place.

So, after Whole Foods we went to Grumpy's office. Of course, he was a big hit. He wore his collared shirt and embroidered pants. We "walked" from office to office saying hi to everyone. His favorite, stopping by one office with three younger ladies who immediately swooned at the little man. He was in heaven.
He had a great time "working" with Grumpy. He sat with Grumpy and ate his reports, moved the stickies around and almost grabbed the phone. Good times!
Back at the ranch the little guy has been getting used to the new place, but doing well. Nap time has been a bit difficult. There are no light blocking shades here - in fact when you pull down the shades there seems to be more light in the room? - so we now have his pack n' play in a bathroom. Don't worry, it is ventilated.

He loves the cat. My parents have a cat named Callie. She is a bit of a nut. Not real friendly. Not loving the kiddo. But he takes one look at her and giggles and crawls towards her. She runs right under the bed. I wonder if she will figure out that he is just as small as her and could get to her no matter where she hides... For risk of the cat having a total meltdown, I am trying to prevent this at present.

Today it is off to explore the city! Where will we go? Aquarium? Children's Museum?
