Joel Husband had to buy these get-ups. And, why not - they are so cute?! Joel Andrew really enjoys being "Lloyd Christmas" - and he knows to tell people that is who he is as well. James is a big fan of being Harry Dunn as well. Both characters from the movie Dumb and Dumber. Some people may think we are being bad parents for dressing up our kids up like Dumb and Dumber characters, but we had to… they are too cute. And, when they are in college they will whip out these photos for sure. Maybe for therapy, but who knows.
We watched a bit of the movie with them and they loved it. There was no calming these guys down when a Jim Carey movie was on, so it only lasted about 5 minutes, but they enjoyed seeing their characters. Joel Husband and I were slightly disturbed at how James meshes into the Harry character nicely, as does Joel with Jim Carey's… I guess the actors were going for 4 and 2 when they acted these parts!
This will be the end of forced costumes, and tonight for trick or treating it is all about what they want. I think Joel wants to be spiderman and James Buzz Lightyear. Good times will be had by all.
