This is something that has not happened in a while, and probably will never happen again. But this weekend we had nothing to do. Not one thing was planned, scheduled. Well, we had to get our hair cut but that was it. It was wonderful, we went to fudruckers and Joel Andrew and James Morris danced around the liquid fireworks at Jordans on Friday night. We went home and rested knowing there was nothing ahead of us on Saturday.
Saturday we went to the beach. I completely forgot it was Touch a Truck, but who cares - we went to the beach. Hands down, the boys favorite playground is at Hampton Beach and so we played there for a while. As per usual Joel Andrew found an older woman who he followed around, so cute.
Then we walked on the beach. James immediately tried to take his pants off and asked for his bathing suit not understanding that it was a little cold for a swim. He went in up to him bum anyway and had a ball running back and forth from the waves. We tried to make it to the arcades, but they were already closed for the season. Sad, Hampton Beach, sad.
The boys sang and danced on the Hampton Beach stage which I have on priceless video. Boy band material for sure. Then we went to Flatbreads for delicious lunch. Home, and there were great naps for all but Joel Andrew, the nap resister - who just sat and quietly played. Casual dinner, hot tub time and then a little Classic Halloween Chipmunks before bed.
Not a bad little Saturday. Not bad at all!
These guys are perfect... Now that we survived a week of hand, foot and mouth with James I am hoping we are getting back to perfect boys. Can we stay healthy and happy to Disney? Countdown, 28 days until DISNEY WORLD!
